Yes. You register as the first registrant from a WEVA member's company. Your employee registers as an additional registrant from a WEVA member's company.

My boss is a WEVA member, but cannot attend the EXPO.

Can I join WEVA and pay the member rates for EXPO?

You may join WEVA when you register for EXPO and be entitled to the WEVA member discount on registration and all other membership benefits.

Does my spouse have to register?

Your spouse has to register if he or she wants to attend any of the seminars or the trade show. He/she will register as an additional attendee from your company.

Are there any events that my spouse can attend with me if they are not registered for the EXPO?

Attendee's spouse and children may attend the Opening Night Gala and the Creative Excellence Awards presentation on Monday night. (Friends, associates, employees, may NOT attend the Opening Night Gala or Awards Presentation if they are not registered to attend EXPO.) Spouses and children may pick up a guest pass on Monday night at the EXPO Registration Center (must be accompanied by the registered spouse).

Can I just buy a trade show pass?

Yes. $20 for WEVA members. $29 for non-members.

Are there any free passes for the trade show?

No. The Trade Show is limited to registered attendees to allow all attendees ample time to go hands-on with new gear, get questions answered and buy products at EXPO-only discounts.

Can my wife (son, daughter, father, whoever) come to the trade show with me?

Only if they register for the convention or the trade show.

Does the registration fee include any meals?

There will be a complimentary buffet at the Opening Night Gala on Monday night as well as continental breakfast.

Do I have to sign-up for the seminars when I register?

No. Just choose the seminars you want to attend when you arrive at the EXPO. Pre-selection of the seminars is not required. But you do need to sign up (and pay the additional fee) for the optional pre-convention workshops on Monday.

Can I purchase workshop tickets on-site at EXPO?

Yes, if there are any seats available. However, enrollment is on a "first-come" basis and some workshops will sell out in advance. No wait list.

Can I register on-site?

Yes, but the fees are higher. Early-bird discount ends July 31 (FYI-we do not accept company or personal checks at on-site registration).

Tuesday 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm

No Trade Show on Thursday.

When does the EXPO officially begin?

Monday at 5:45 pm

When does the EXPO end?

Thursday by 5:00 pm right after the final door prize drawings.

Do I have to stay at JW Marriott?

No. But all programming is at JW Marriott. Sessions start early and end late; it's very convenient to just take the elevator home at night. It's more fun to stay where most of the attendees are staying.

Can I sign up for just the optional workshops on Monday afternoon?

No. Attendees must be registered for the full EXPO in order to register for the optional workshops.

Is there a fee for the Intro to EXPO Workshop on Monday morning?

No, however you need to be a registered full EXPO attendee, and register for the workshop.

Can I register for the EXPO and renew my membership, too?

You can register and renew your membership on the EXPO registration form.

Yes, by e-mail.

What if I have to cancel my registration?

I signed up for the workshop(s) on Monday afternoon, but my plane arrives only 30 minutes before the workshop. What if my plane is late?

There are no refunds for missed workshops. If you cancel by July 31, you can get a refund.

I can only attend one day of the EXPO. What is the fee to attend?

Member: $139 per day. Non-member: $179 per day.

What is the dress code for the Creative Excellence Awards Presentation?

Business attire: no shorts, jeans or t-shirts.

What is the dress code for the seminars?

Business casual.
